Whiteside County, Illinois is divided into 60 precincts. Our organization is comprised of committeemen elected from those precincts, as well as appointed to precincts; management of the organization is placed in the hands of selected committeemen and officers who are elected by the committeemen at the county convention (following every even-year primary).
The purpose of the Central Committee shall be to establish, organize and promote the operations of the Whiteside County Republican Party, and other functions that from time to time, may be deemed proper and appropriate. The Central Committee is the governing body of the Republican Party of Whiteside County, Illinois, and is an integral, but independent, part of the National Republican Party and of the Illinois Republican Party. It shall have the authority to take all appropriate action to promote the principles and programs of the Republican Party.

Whiteside County Republican Central Committee Meetings
Meetings are held in the downstairs meeting room (immediately to your left upon entering front entrance off of Main Street) at Happy Joe's, 109 West Main St., Morrison, unless otherwise noted. Social time and pizza at 6:00 pm; Meetings begin at 6:30 pm unless otherwise noted.
2020 Meeting Dates
The Whiteside County Republican Party Committee is eager to once again, award a $1,000 scholarship to an upcoming Whiteside County high school graduate applying to a 2- or 4-year college/trade school for the fall of 2020. Likewise, the party will award an additional $1,000 scholarship to a Whiteside County college student who is currently attending a 2- or 4-year college or trade school located anywhere in the United States and will continue enrollment for the fall of 2020.
Whiteside County Republican Party Chairman Kurt Glazier stated, “These scholarship opportunities to invest in our resident students has a lasting benefit that will help open many doors for our future leaders. We, as a party, feel honored to have this opportunity to come together as a party and financially provide assistance to a young student leaders year after year.” An application and full eligibility requirements can be downloaded here. Applications shall be postmarked no later than March 2, 2020. Any applications postmarked after that date will not be accepted. Scholarships will be awarded in May 2020 and paid to the winner's school in August for the fall 2020 semester.
Our members host and take part in a number of community events each year, including our Lincoln Day Dinner in March, the Whiteside County Fair in August, Oktoberfest and holiday parades. Check back here often for photos of our latest event.
